WWC Internship Program
Our highly competitive School-Based Mental Health Internship Program is dedicated to expanding the pipeline of mental health professionals in schools by providing hands-on experience in educational settings. With placement sites across seven counties and more than 25 school districts, interns benefit from interdisciplinary supervision, high-quality professional development, and real-world application of their skills. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our 89% retention rate, with interns securing positions in high needs school districts and community agencies after completion. By fostering a strong, well-trained workforce, we are shaping the future of school-based mental health services and ensuring sustainable support for students.
Placement sites in over 25 school districts and community agencies are available. We offer high-quality training and professional development. Supervision for school counseling, school social work, school psychology, and mental health counseling interns is provided. Stipends and mileage reimbursement are available, along with reimbursement for conference fees.
